CSC — Selection of employees for retention or lay-off

Earlier today CSC advised the USGE National Office that they would be informing various employees that they were unsuccessful in the SERLO Process. As a result, these employees will remain as affected employees and CSC will not be declaring them surplus or opting until September 1, 2012. In the interim CSC will continue to seek out alternate positions within the department. Employees will be advised of their recourse rights before the Public Service Staffing Tribunal once they receive a letter declaring them surplus.
