National Public Safety Awards Nomination Form

USJE’s members deserve to be celebrated for their work. After all, they protect Canadians from coast to coast to coast each and every day! This is why we created the National Public Safety Awards—to recognize and honour outstanding USJE members across Canada.

We encourage you to nominate a colleague whose years of service and commitment to going above and beyond the call of duty stand out.

Across 18 federal departments nationwide, USJE’s members protect the privacy and security of Canadians as well as help provide access to information, justice and human rights.

If you are thinking about nominating a colleague, we would love to know more about how their dedication and approach to their job enables them to fulfill the mandate they have to protect public safety, and/or the privacy and security of Canadians, and/or their fundamental access to justice and human rights.

Please provide any examples/anecdotes that help USJE to fully understand the impact that is being by the person you wish to nominate.

In addition to excelling in their day-to-day work, does the nominee volunteer for an organization or are they involved in your community? Do they consistently support and inspire their co-workers? Are they mentors?

PLEASE NOTE: It is not necessary for a nominee to be active in the union to be considered for this nomination. In fact, USJE welcomes learning about members who may not be on our radar screen but are going above and beyond.

Nominate your colleague today.
