USJE meets Public Safety Minister re: changes to legislation to protect mental health of Public Safety Personnel
National President David Neufeld was joined by representatives from USJE’s Health and Safety Advisory Committee to meet newly appointed federal Public Safety Minister, the Hon. Dominic LeBlanc to discuss USJE’s proposed changes to the federal Government Employees Act.
RCMP Civilian Members: update on wage increases, deeming and dues
PSAC and the Union of Safety and Justice Employees are aware that some members pay-matched with the EG-06 classification have not received the additional pay-grid adjustment related to their position.
Winter holiday office closure
USJE’s offices will be closed from December 25 – January 1 inclusive. The office reopens on January 2.

It’s USJE scholarship time again!
If you are a USJE member in post-secondary studies or have a child, spouse, partner, or dependent going to college or university, USJE is offering a total of seven scholarships.
Welcome! New USJE Labour Relations Officers
USJE is pleased to welcome two new Labour Relations Officers to the National Office. D’Arcy Gauthier and Sharon Aspirot joined the LR department on December 4. They each bring a unique and fresh perspective to the group and we are happy to have them as part of the team. Welcome!
