RCMP Civilian Members: Have your say!

We have created a 15-minute anonymous online survey for RCMP Civilian Members who are pay-matched in the PA, TC, EB and SV classifications.

The survey will give you the opportunity to let us know what you would like to see brought forward in the next round of PSAC’s collective bargaining with your employer (Treasury Board). We are asking for this information now because preparations for bargaining will begin prior to the April, 2018 deeming date.

In addition to gathering your valuable opinions, the final section of the survey gives you the opportunity to participate in a preliminary training session – with costs covered by your union – for Civilian Members (CMs) and Union of Solicitor General Employees (USGE) representatives in preparation for deeming.

Themes of the training will be twofold – welcoming the new CMs and an overview of collective bargaining. The training will take place on the 9th and 10th of January in Ottawa.

We are inviting the participation of one CM from each of the regions (Atlantic, Quebec, National Capital Region, Ontario, Prairies (Alberta, NWT & NU), Prairies (MB, SK) and Pacific). We will reach out to CMs in your region to elect their representative for this initial training if there is more than one volunteer from each region.

While the survey is anonymous, you can choose to enter your name into a draw for an iPad if you complete the entire survey.

Please share the survey with your colleagues and encourage them to send their contact information (personal emails please) to CM-INFO-MC@psac-afpc.com.

We deeply appreciate your opinion and thank you for taking the time to complete the survey.

The survey will be available until December 4th, 2017.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
