From June 15-17, Canada will be hosting the G7 in Kananaskis, Alberta. These meetings are of significant importance. They bring the world’s leading economies together to promote economic and financial stability, international peace and security and cooperation. These meetings will mark the 50th anniversary of the G7, which was founded in 1975.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney will be joined by G7 leaders from France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and the European Union.
Events of this scale require extensive planning, coordination and, most importantly, a strong and professional security presence. USJE is proud to recognize the essential role our members are playing in support of the G7.
Members are reminded that any changes made to their working conditions during their time at the G7 is subject to their respective Collective Agreements and Terms and Conditions of Employment.
