USJE stands in solidarity with CUPE

By using the notwithstanding clause to impose a new contract, the Ford government is stripping workers of their constitutional right to free collective bargaining.

This means the constitutional right of Ontario workers to free collective bargaining is under attack. If the Ford government can use the notwithstanding clause to simply impose a contract on them, then all workers in Ontario can have their bargaining rights taken away.

The rights of all workers are on the line. And the fight-back starts by supporting and showing our solidarity with education workers in Ontario.

USJE is urging all our members to join education workers on a picket line near you, whenever you can, and learn more at DontBeABully.ca.
