To all CMs who will become USJE members, we’d like to say welcome! We’re pleased you’ll be joining USJE and we look forward to working with, and for, you.

You might be wondering what USJE may be able to do for you as you transition to the public service. In answer, we’ll do everything we can to maintain your present conditions of employment.

With a combined USJE/PSAC membership of over 170,000 we have the strength of numbers on our side, in addition, USJE has access to the highest levels of the RCMP management. We’re here for you. Some of you will be going to other unions: Due to the type of work you do, some of you will be assigned to other unions. No doubt they’ll also be in touch if you’ll be one of their members. It still may be beneficial for you to review this information to get a sense of the type of benefits unions can provide. Unions work together for fairness for everyone, so even if you’re not joining USJE, welcome to the union movement!
