March 20, the USJE delegation of National President David Neufeld, RVP Heather McKinnon and members of the USJE Communications team closed out their tour of Manitoba RCMP sites.
The delegation started the morning with a visit to the Sainte Rose du Lac RCMP detachment to meet with the only DSA at that work site. The member provided a tour of the facilities and participated in the Serving Together campaign.

The week finished with a final stop at Gimli detachment. The building is only three years old, with two public service employees working at the site. President Neufeld and RVP McKinnon fielded questions from the DSAs, while the communications team completed one final interview.
USJE would like to thank the 26 USJE members who shared their personal experiences as employees of the RCMP that will be part of USJE’s national RCMP campaign. Approved by the RCMP’s National Labour Relations team, the campaign aims to bring awareness about the unique roles and work done by our members.
Even though all site visits have now been completed, RCMP public servants and CMs can still participate by reaching out to the USJE Communications team at USJEcommunicationSESJ@psac-afpc.com.
