On Tuesday Oct 31st, USGE held a nation-wide event to share information and to collect food for local food banks across the country.
Hundreds of USGE members, from every region, participated in this event which brought attention to important issues such as:
- Phoenix
- Pensions
- Harassment
- Bullying in the workplace, and
- Parole Officer duties
In addition, hundreds of pounds of food were collected for, and distributed to, local food banks.
Further, media covered the event, and a Member of Parliament stood up in the House of Commons, referencing our members working in the Donnaconna PEN, and asked Prime Minister Trudeau when Phoenix will be fixed.
Thanks to all who organized and sent information and pictures of their event. The draw for a BBQ with Stan will happen next week.
