Dear USGE members,
It is with great sadness that we share with you that our dear friend and colleague, Diane Leduc-Doran, who worked at USGE National Office, passed away yesterday, November 20th.
Diane will be remembered for her sparkle, her kind heart and her gentle personality.
In memory of Diane, her husband asks everyone to consider registering as an organ donor at: www.beadonor.ca. It takes less than a minute to do, as long as you have your health card, and can save up to 8 lives. Had enough people registered to donate their organs, Diane would likely still be with us today.
Also, in lieu of flowers, James asks that people consider making a donation to the University Health Network Transplant Clinic (www.tgwhf.ca/ways-to-give) or to the Ottawa General Hospital Foundation (www.ohfoundation.ca/ways-donate)
Diane was a very special person and she will be greatly missed.
