If you are a USJE member in post-secondary studies or have a child, spouse, partner, or dependent going to college or university, USJE now offers a total of seven scholarships. The deadline for all scholarships is Tuesday, February 1st, 2022.
USJE is pleased to announce that we recently added two new scholarships to our scholarship program. The first has been created to honour the memory of beloved former RVP Danielle Belleau. The second is for Indigenous members and has been created to honour the work and tremendous commitment of former Senator Murray Sinclair. Each scholarship is in the amount of $2,500.
All members in good standing are eligible for any of the seven scholarships, while the spouses, partners, children and dependents of members in good standing are also eligible for the Louise Pargeter, Lynn Ray, Diane Leduc-Doran and/or Senator Murray Sinclair scholarships.
Please note that in regard to the Louise Pargeter scholarships, preference will be given to applicants enrolled in the fields of psychology, criminology, sociology or social work. For the Danielle Belleau scholarship the applicant must be 30 years of age or older and for the Senator Murray Sinclair scholarship the applicant must be of Indigenous descent.
Please head to the scholarship section of the USJE website to find out more about our scholarships and/or to apply.
