PSAC Treasury Board teams gear up for bargaining in February

PSAC Treasury Board bargaining teams came to Ottawa recently to prepare for the next round of bargaining.

Bargaining dates have now been set for February 1-5. While the teams initially expected to bargain in December, these dates were delayed to give the new government time to improve its mandate.

The focus for the teams continues to be bargaining a solid agreement that will strengthen the public service.

Key objectives

  • Healthier workplaces
  • Strong public services and fair treatment for workers if service delivery changes
  • Wages that keep up with inflation and the job market

PSAC expects the new Liberal government to live up to its commitments to respect our Charter right to free collective bargaining and to restore the public services our members provide.
