We are saddened to learn of the passing of USJE Honorary Member Rick Grovet on Sunday, September 23. Rick was a Correctional Officer and former Regional Vice-President of CSC in Alberta. A dedicated member of USJE since 1975, Rick was first elected RVP in 1993 and stepped down after 11 years of service in 2004.
The service will be held at Covenant Christian Reformed Church in Edmonton 19010 – 87 Ave at 2:00 PM, Friday Oct 5th. Interment will be prior to the memorial service at Westlawn Cemetery at 12:00 PM and is open to anyone wishing to attend.
Our sympathies go out to Rick’s family. He will be remembered for his dedication in supporting USJE members.
