USJE members wear black in solidarity with Treasury Board Bargaining teams

On September 16, USJE Members from coast to coast joined PSAC’s monthly Day of Solidarity by wearing black in support of Treasury Board bargaining teams.

On the third Wednesday of every month, PSAC members working for Treasury Board wear black to send a clear message to the employer: we stand behind our bargaining teams and remain committed to securing a fair collective agreement.

After more than a year of negotiations, Treasury Board continues to fall short on key issues that matter to members, including fair wages, job security, and remote work protections. By participating in Days of Solidarity, members demonstrate that they are engaged, organized, and prepared to support their bargaining teams throughout the process.

Across the country, USJE members showed their solidarity by wearing black, gathering for group photos, and making their support visible in workplaces from coast to coast:

  • Atlantic
  • Quebec
  • National Capital
  • Ontario
  • Prairies
  • Pacific

Real bargaining power comes from engaged members standing together. Every conversation, every action, and every show of solidarity helps demonstrate that members are paying attention and expect meaningful progress at the bargaining table.

As negotiations continue, Days of Solidarity provide an opportunity for members to remain visible and united. Thank you to everyone who participated and shared photos from their workplaces!

The next Day of Solidarity will take place on October 21st. Don’t forget to wear black and show your support.
