Send a message to Mona Fortier: Immediately suspend the implementation of new Treasury Board Directive on return to worksite policies

The Treasury Board decided to announce a government wide ‘return to the workplace’ directive stipulating that all employees will be required to be in the workplace a minimum of 2 to 3 days per week starting in January.

Please join us in letting Minister Mona Fortier know that this new Treasury Board Directive is failing USJE members who stepped up during the pandemic time and time again.

PSAC will be providing members and Components guidance on filing grievances against the policy when it’s implemented January 16.

LEAN type management and you!

Dr. Angelo Soares of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM) is currently conducting a research project on LEAN management methods to which CPORF bear great similarities. This research will help to list the positive and damaging effects of such methods, to identify how the management methods interlink, and to measure the risks to public safety.

USJE condemns and opposes LEAN type management even though CSC is committed to seeing them through. We strongly encourage our CSC members to participate in this research project.
