During USJE’s September National Executive meeting, Executive members agreed unanimously to donate $10,000 to the Prince Edward Island Red Cross. These monies will be used to provide support to those who have been recently devasted by Hurricane Fiona. Tens of thousands of individuals remain without power in PEI and there is a tremendous need for food and water. USJE’s donation will be matched by the Federal government, so USJE’s $10,000 will in fact become a $20,000 donation in support of the relief so desperately needed by those in PEI.
