USJE National President and Communications Team end RCMP Ontario tour at the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre in North Bay
On August 22, the third and final day of the tour of Ontario RCMP workplaces, President David Neufeld and members of the USJE communications team met with members who work at the only Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre which is located in North Bay.
President Neufeld, RVP Blanchette and the USJE Communications Team visit RCMP Detachment in Valleyfield Quebec
On August 16, as part of USJE’s National RCMP Campaign, President David Neufeld, Regional Vice President Annie Blanchette and members of the USJE communications team visited the RCMP Detachment in Valleyfield, Quebec. Sgt. Hugo Lavoie welcomed the USJE representatives to the detachment and provided a detailed tour of the site. An opportunity was also provided to meet with two USJE members who work on site and to speak with them about their role in the detachment.
Newmarket RCMP Detachment welcome a visit by President Neufeld, RVP Skalin and the USJE Communications Team
On August 21, the second of a three-day tour of Ontario RCMP workplaces, President David Neufeld, RVP Bella Skalin and members of the USJE communications team met with members who work at the Newmarket Detachment. The USJE team were greeted by Officer in Charge Inspector Tim Dell’Anna.
Equity Conference 2025

Education on Menopause in the workplace at the RCMP
USJE National Vice President, Lynette Robinson, who serves as the Employee Co-chair for the RCMP National Health and Safety Policy Committee, raised the importance of education on menopause in the workplace at the May 21st meeting. With unanimous agreement from the Committee, a formal recommendation was made to the Chief Human Resource Officer to include education on menopause within the RCMP.

On July 29th, National President David Neufeld and Regional Vice-President, Kirsty Havard (CSC BC), attended Fraser Valley Institution (FVI) to conduct a site visit with Conservative Member of Parliament, Frank Caputo (Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo).
USJE concludes RCMP British Columbia tour
On July 26, National President David Neufeld, RVP Zoe Johnston and members of the Communications team completed their tour of RCMP sites in British Columbia with a visit to the forensic labs at E Division Headquarters and a meeting with E Division Commanding Officer, Dwayne McDonald.
