Update on possible strike

This morning, PSAC announced that if there is no deal reached by 9 p.m. ET tomorrow, April 18, we will launch a national general strike beginning at 12:01 AM ET Wednesday, April 19 for all our 155,000 PSAC members working for both CRA and Treasury Board.

Possible Strike

Under the legislation, we have 60 days to call a strike following a favourable strike vote — meaning a strike could be called anytime between now and June 10.

Update for USJE members at CSIS

USJE and PSAC have filed an Unfair Labour Practice complaint with the FPSLREB, alleging that CSIS’ actions are in violation of the Federal Public Sector Labour Relations Act.

USJE members support hybrid working arrangements

USJE Members shared resoundingly that hybrid working environments are better for their work/life balance and thus are better for their mental and physical health. Members were clear that hybrid work leads to less distractions and more productivity, with the option of face-to-face meetings on office days.

National Public Safety Awards 2023
