Disability Insurance for USJE Members

Since July 1, 2023, health insurance benefits for USJE members and their dependents are provided by Canada Life.

However, it is important to remember that this move to Canada Life does not include Disability Insurance which remains with SunLife.

The Disability Insurance Plan is available to employees of the federal public service who are represented by bargaining agents. The Plan is designed to replace a portion of lost income if you become “totally disabled” for a prolonged period.
