USJE RVP Carol Osborne and USJE Local 60001 President Caroline Morais-Gregan attended the PSAC Atlantic Access Summit in Halifax, NS from November 14th – 16th, 2025. There were 20 participants from across the region from PSAC Components and the DCLs.   

Regional Vice Presidents Carol Osborne and Laurie Ann Wesselby attended the African Canadian Experience (ACE) Workshop held in Upper Hammonds Plains from November 3 – 6, 2025. 

On Friday, May 30, USJE wrapped up the last half day of USJE’s National Equity conference.

May 29th – USJE’s 2025 Equity Conference wrapped up its 3rd full day of activities at the Westin Nova Scotian late last evening. 

The second full day of USJE’s Equity Conference took place today in Halifax. USJE is a proud component of the Public Service Alliance of Canada. Consequently, it was an immense pleasure and privilege to welcome PSAC National President Sharon DeSousa who addressed the delegates.  

USJE’s Equity Conference kicked off in Halifax, Nova Scotia this morning. Nearly 50  delegates and USJE elected officials from across Canada have gathered for the week-long event at the Westin Nova Scotian, Halifax’s most historic hotel.  

USJE’s 2nd Equity Conference theme is Taking Action for Equity. The conference will be held May 27-30, 2025, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
