Today in the House of Commons, Peter Julian, MP for New Westminster-Burnaby (British-Columbia) introduced a Private Member’s Bill in support of the Union of Safety and Justice Employee’s longstanding call to ensure more federal public safety personnel have access to Worker’s Compensation for mental health related injuries.

RVP Andréanne Samson discussed with NDP MP Alexandre Boulerice the decision by management to withdraw the union hall from USJE members at the RCMP’s C Division in Westmount. Mr. Boulerice, MP for Rosemont – La Petite Patrie and his political party’s Quebec lieutenant, contacted USJE himself to inquire about progress on the file.
