PSAC announces nationwide general strike beginning April 19 for 155,000 workers
Picket lines will go up across the country April 19 as more than 155,000 Public Service Alliance of Canada members working for Treasury Board and Canada Revenue Agency begin strike action.
Update on possible strike
This morning, PSAC announced that if there is no deal reached by 9 p.m. ET tomorrow, April 18, we will launch a national general strike beginning at 12:01 AM ET Wednesday, April 19 for all our 155,000 PSAC members working for both CRA and Treasury Board.
